Honoring Freedom | Uplifting Community | Celebrating Together

June 19th, 2025

Noon-5pm

Heritage Park in Downtown Walla Walla

Join us for Live Music and Great Community at this Family Friendly Juneteenth Celebration Centering Black Culture, Black Joy, and the Emancipation of Chattel Slavery.

Get Involved

This event is organized by a coalition of passionate Walla Walla community members and are excited to connect with you about being involved.

We are currently looking for community support. How can you participate?

  • VOLUNTEER. The leadership team needs folks to help set up chairs & tables, to assist in food preparation, to ensure our park stays clean, to man booths, and much more. Give 1 hour or the whole day - whatever you can do will help!

  • Entertainment. If you or a group you are apart of are interested in being on the main stage and sharing your artistry we would love to have you! We are prioritizing and centering Black Joy. This means that whatever you share with us should not center on trauma but can talk about the strength, determination, and hope that is Blackness.  Please be in touch!

  • PARTICIPATE. Plan to spend some time at the event on the 19th. Learn, eat, celebrate, and love our beautiful and diverse community with us. Bring your family. Tell your friends! Spread the word!
